Halloween is such a magical time of year for kids so why not take full advantage of the fun and implement Halloween into your classroom too?! I have created a list of all the best Halloween worksheets, Halloween activities, and free Halloween printables that would be great in your classroom. I have some DIY ideas and tons of freebies!
All of the Halloween activities are easy to prep too. Simply print, cut, laminate, or throw into a sheet protector and you’re good to go!
1. Halloween Writing Words – Free
These Halloween word cards are perfect for your writing center. I love to throw the cards on the table as a morning activity. Students grab a card and practice writing the words on white boards. They come in lowercase and uppercase letters. Make sure to snag these for FREE!
2. Pumpkin Addition – FREE
This would be a great activity in response to the song and book 5 Little Pumpkins. It’s a fun visual too for adding two groups together.
3. 5 Little Pumpkins – STEM activity
In response to the book (and song) 5 little Pumpkins, I gave my students craft pumpkins, clothes pins and popsicle sticks. Their challenge was to make a gate to hold up 5 pumpkins. Any wood objects would work! Check out these mini pumpkins on Amazon. You can find the board book here on Amazon.
4. Halloween Math Centers – 8 engaging activities
Tons of hands on math centers! Make sure to check out Target’s dollar spot for some mini erasers or the Dollar Tree for any fun Halloween objects to use as counters.

Great for early finishers, homework, or an assessment!
6. Halloween Party DIY Picture Frames
If you’re having a Halloween party at school, this is a fun keepsake for your students and families. I took a picture mat and decorated it with stick on letters, cobwebs and fake spiders. So cute!
7. Halloween Write/Color the Room
This activity comes differentiated! You can have your students write the words on a recording sheet OR find the pictures and color them in (as seen below).
8. Halloween Puzzles
I like to print these puzzles in black and white so the students can color the puzzles and glue them down onto a piece of construction paper. We get some creative juices as well as fine motor while working on math skills!

These are so fun for 1:1 correspondence and fine motor skills. They come with a lot of different Halloween picture cards.
11. CVC Write the Room – FREE!
For those kids who are ready to write CVC words, this is a fun activity to get them up and moving around the room!
12. Halloween 10 Frames – FREE
Just add those cute halloween mini erasers! Or you can also use candy corn, spider rings… whatever tiny fun manipulatives you can find!
13. Uppercase/lowercase Coloring matching activity – FREE
This is a great way to practice Uppercase and Lowercase letter matching. I like to put the letter cards in a plastic cauldron mixed with spooky things like eyeballs and bats and bones. The kids have fun taking the letter cards out and matching it on their recording sheet.

14. Candy Pumpkins STEM
Calling all candy corn/candy pumpkin lovers! This is a fun STEM activity with toothpicks and creating 3D structures. Bonus: a treat when you’re done!
15. Candy Corn Toss
If you’re having a Halloween party, this is a cute DIY for throwing bean bags or koosh balls or something similar through the holes. Just find a giant piece of cardboard and some paint!
16. BONUS! Haunted House
