Every spring we celebrate Earth Day. It is an important day for everyone to remember what we can do to take care of our Earth. If you are looking for some Earth Day worksheets, make sure to grab the free coloring pages and a Seesaw sorting activity too!
These free Earth Day worksheets are quick and easy to prep. Students have fun learning about Earth day by coloring and tracing the key words. Go grab your free worksheets HERE or by clicking on the image below.
Here is a fun art activity to try after reading this book! We used paper plates and the kids drew their continents with a Sharpee first and then added the paint. I had them draw their own heart and cut it out and glue to the middle of the plate.
Some STEM activities for Earth Day could be to create your own recycling plant. Students can use materials such as:
- blocks
- legos
- plastic bottles
- tin cans
- play trucks
- shredded paper
Another STEM idea would be to create your own garden. Students can use materials such as
- green and brown felt
- fake flowers and rocks
- sunflower seeds
- watering can
- twigs
Also included in the free Earth Day coloring pages is a free anchor chart that can help remind students on how to help take care of our Earth.
If you are looking to add a digital component to your Earth Day lesson, make sure to check out this free Recycle Sorting Seesaw activity as well! Students can watch a video on how to sort recycling goods vs. non recyclables. After is a sorting activity where they can drag and drop recycled items to the correct bins.
